Meet the Team

Frank He founded DavidSolomon Real Estate with college roommate David Carlson.  Frank focuses on investment strategy, capital formation, and portfolio management. He brings extensive experience in real estate lending and fund management, with a track record of structuring and scaling private investment vehicles. Frank has overseen construction loan platforms, working closely with borrowers, investors, and institutional partners to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns.

In addition to his lending expertise, Frank has played a key role in building operational teams across multiple time zones and implementing scalable systems for underwriting, servicing, and reporting. 

His hands-on approach and deep understanding of both capital markets and real estate operations allow him to bridge the gap between investors and developers.

Frank holds a degree in engineering, and business (MBA) and is an active member of the Southern California business community. He is a member of Pasadena Angels (lead angel of the year in 2016), Vistage, and YPO where he engages with fellow leaders and entrepreneurs to share insights, refine strategy, and expand opportunities.

David Carlson is a licensed attorney, real estate broker, and general contractor with more than 20 years of experience in real estate and construction. He has also spent over a decade in asset management, with a focus on tenant improvements, property operations, and acquisitions.

David holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Juris Doctor (JD). His unique combination of legal, construction, and real estate ownership expertise enables him to approach projects from multiple perspectives—protecting investor interests while ensuring successful execution.

As co-founder of DavidSolomon Real Estate, David brings a disciplined, solutions-oriented approach to complex real estate transactions and development projects, complementing the firm’s entrepreneurial and investment-driven strategy.

Cecilia brings deep expertise in private equity and REIT fund accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and compliance. At DavidSolomon Real Estate, she oversees accounting operations, reporting, and controls to ensure accuracy and transparency across all investment structures.

Previously, Cecilia audited financial reporting, regulatory filings, and construction loan operations for publicly traded banks. She also has experience in loan origination, loan operations, and preparation of corporate and individual tax returns.

Cecilia graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California (USC). Her combined experience across real estate funds, financial institutions, and tax advisory provides her with a comprehensive view of the accounting and reporting lifecycle—making her a key contributor to the firm’s financial stewardship.
